(I could understand if it was Viconia, but still...) Try slapping a Protection from Petrification then a Spell Shield on Aerie, or better yet, check to see if the romance is still active with this console code: CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("JaheiraRomanceActive","GLOBALS")
