The wild mage is the reason I bought ToB. Period. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Try searching for "wild mage" on this board. I've written a testimonial, and a few other people have too. And the "best wild surge" stories are must-reads.
Install ToB. The experience cap raises (to 8 million exp?), mages can scribe 9th-level spells, you can use the TAB key to highlight hard-to-see objects ("now where did that corpse drop its loot?"), and explore a new area in SoA. You just need to know what to do, and it also helps spice up the game [img]smile.gif[/img]
Some of it also gives funny effects, like having the person you are romancing with have a sex change wild surge
