I haven´t tested Chloe, or any other custom NPC besides Valen & Solaufein.

So...
Valen
During the game she will grow incredibly strong, a REAL wizard killer.
Also, after upgrading the bone blade with pixie prick i managed to get get an back stab multiplier of 8x, while she dual wielded her claws and the new upgraded bone blade.
She doesn´t seem to "banter" with party members, but the interjection dialogues, as they call them, that she has, are both useful and amusing.
She, for example "reveals" a few ambushes etc.

On the negative side, her blood lust & vampiric nature are some real problem causers.
lathanders wont like you, they will actually attack you on sight if she is traveling with you.
She also some times attacks useless NPC´s, like poor Delon, causing sometimes a heavy reputation loss.
Drizzt is also on her list of meals... So if you value the life of your party you wont leave underdark before your party is around level15...
And even better, after reaching a certain level a bunch of ûber strong vampire hunters who summon a bunch of devas or some such creepies attack your party unless you abandon her to them.

So, it´s:
+A VERY strong character
-VERY strong enemies

+Amusing & useful dialogue
-Reputation loss
