I remember a nice bugfix for Jaheira's romance on some Polish site but U think it is already included with Baldurdash.
I have never had major problems with the Jaheira romance after installing that one. However doing the Harper quests (which present themselves right at the start) could probably get her stuck in some dialogues.
Don't get me wrong but I think that the developers just figured that early in the game you'd take any quest possible and they made sure you wouldn't miss it by planting the poisoned fella.
