yes, this is useful. Except DSotSC repalces it with a cloak which "fades the wearer 75%(similar to invisiblility)" but I dont know what effect it has. It is permanent, but its not similar enough to invisiblity to allow a theif to backstab. (That wold be *so* cheesy).
