There has never been a legally obtainable, alignment-changing item in the BG series (except for one in Tales of the Sword Coast, and it's damn near impossible to get), and I don't think there ever will be, for one simple reason: Can you imagine writing a diametrically-opposed personality for Every Single Recruitable NPC In The GAME???

For a less dramatic answer, there is an item you can spawn into the game called the Helm of Opposite Alignment, it's cursed so once you put it on him, it won't come off unless you use a Remove Curse spell. Keep in mind it only alters his alignment, not his personality.
