This is a very good point you make, Tancred. Remember though, I can get a lot of money quite fast, since I won't be using a good 95% of the magic items I find (excluding potions and the like,) as well as a high pickpocket rating complemented by potions of master thievery. I'm planning on using Dakkon's Zerth Blade and Blade of Roses early on, with Shadow Armour and Balduran's Armour. Then I'll move upwards. I'll get flail next, for the (reasonably) easy to obtain Flail of the Ages. Afterwards, I'll get dagger because, to be quite blunt, most of the daggers in BG2 are s*** compared to katanas and longswords, so I want those first.
