I really dont have a choice. As soon as I enter the board I get a message that the scroll disengrates - and the old boy is right there.

I did manage to kill him finally but it was less than honest - and now the quest wont clear! By the way I didnt get anything after him, his two snake like people and six other of his minions were disposed of. He had managed to kill everybody but one of my people.
