Nah....it's actually quite easy, just keep pulling on the handle while you jump up & down on the victim's chest. [img]graemlins/evillaughter1.gif[/img] Alternatively, when you stab someone, you can turn the blade to let air into the wound, which has the dual effect of making it easier to pull your weapon back out, and causing the victim to lose blood much faster. That central notch is called a bloodgroove, BTW.

Perhaps, with the Impaler, you could do the following: When the chance of the extra Bleeding damage occurs, both combatants are unable to walk (a la Defensive Spin) until the attacker makes another successful attack, under the logic that once the barbed spear is lodged inside the victim, the only way to get it back out is to give it another thrust, pushing it all the way through the victim so you can pull the whole spear out the other side.

Would this cause horrendous Bleeding damage? Yes, I think so. (Might be tricky pushing your spear all the way through a Dragon, however.)
