I found a sweet deal where I can get both BG2 SoA and ToB for less than $30. The CDs aren't in mint condition, but they work and have all of the documentation with them. I'd be lucky if I found SoA for $30.

So I've spent my birthday money and bought the CDs. I plan to play a character through BG1 and import her to BG2. (I'm installing ToB with SoA, hence the reason the post is on the ToB board.) I'm hoping to dual-class this character from a fighter (or thief, haven't decided yet) to a mage, probably at clvl 2 or 3. I am also hoping to take the wild mage kit upon character import. My question is, can I still do this? I've looked up a couple walkthroughs and class guides, and haven't found an answer. Will I not be able to take the wild mage kit if I dual-class, or does ToB care about that?

Also, and this is for any kind of BG1 dual-classing, will I lose that dual-classing when I import my char into BG2?
