I'm in L3 Watchers and the first Demon (Talazzar I think) did not offer to let me hunt down the Baatezu for him. I know this is not a bug as I've had him offer it to other parties. He said I reeked of goodness so best kill me now. Well, admittedly, I do have Keldorn, Aerie, Imoen, Nalia, Me (CG Ranger), and Jaheira, so I am kinda camp-fire-song-kum-ba-ya oriented.
So, he kicked my butt, then I knew better, so I pumped and rocked his world. I have not advanced beyond that, and I have the gem + his heart. Can I work this quest in any way to get the quest points or is the Baatezu going to immediately attack me as well. Can I replay it and have someone else (e.g. Jaheira) talk w/ him to get the quest?
Any advice is welcome.
Also - if you happen to know, what is the one-hit wonder that will sometimes kill my main character on this level and against these fiends?
