Also... fighters are allowed up to five proficiency points per slot(four in BG1). I thought rangers and paladins were also allowed five proficiency points per slot but since my ranger can only have two points per slot, I'm not so sure.
Really kinda sucks too! I designed a fighter to be skilled with large swords and my ranger to be skilled in bows yet if I can only receive four or five proficiency points for a specific slot with my fighter then it almost seems like fighters have a higher potential of bowmanship.
