I had recently finished BGII and began ToB. To play ToB, I imported my group from BGII. Very early into the game (I had just entered Sarduch) my hard drive crashed and I had to do a full system restore.
The upshot is, I lost all information on BGII or ToB and my imported party is now gone. Everything is gone. No, I did not save the information on disc for two reasons. #1: I didn't know I could; #2 If I knew I could I didn't know how.
Is is ethical as a gamer to go to a cheat site and download all the goodies I had collected from BGII SoA and give them to my characters so they will be as well equipped now as they were at the end of BG SoA?
Or will the true gamer reload SoA, replay the entire game to reacquire the XP and treasure/magic so that the game can then be imported to ToB?
Truely a dilemma.
