Thanks for the replies, but I just beat it and it was indeed a bug (BTW this is a big SPOILER if you haven't beaten ToB or completed the Aerie romance).

As I was stepping up to become the new God of Murder (I couldn't get the shadow keeper thing to change my alignment, well more acurately my alignment still said Chaotic Good in shadow keeper but in the game it said Neutral Evil, so I just gave in and decided to be evil) everyone stepped up to say their good-byes, and when Aerie spoke she mentioned raising 'our' baby all on her own, even though we never even slept together. So, obviously there was some kind of bug there, perhaps spurred on by my alignment change . Oh well. It was still pretty fun even w/o the romance. Worked out pretty well actually, plot wise I mean, turning evil. It was like the power was just too much, and it twisted the PC's heart. I'm gonna do it again with a new character, and this time really be good, hopefully that will allow the romance to continue. Think I'm gonna try Jaheira this time, though I've heard that romance is infamously 'buggy'.
