your computer froze up because of three reasons a. your computer is slow or b. your cd -rom is dirty (or not working properly)or c. both of them. the patch that they release are only for crash and not for hang problems so it wont give you a solution for that thing, but the patch is worth downloading for your game's sake in the future. cheer up!!!!
