There's one other thing about the deck.
You only get the ultra-cool effects like throne when you had a bad draw before.
The game checks that! (there's a perfect guide at sorcerers.net)
i.e. loose your money first (you get more than enough) then take the ring and the 1.000.000exp (that's my choice).
It just takes some hours to reload if your are unlucky(hope you have the tob beta patch).
