In the hell test the Demon will tell you to kill a beast of great power, just ask "What kind of beast?" and "Why should I kill it?" and "I don't kill things that are just in my way!"
Then demon gives up and moves out of your way, the dragon thanks you and HOORAY! You get a tear without taking the evil path.
