I had a friend who bet me ten dollars his sorceror could beat my cleric/mage in a duel. He cheated so his sorc knew every spell. Turns out that when he clicked on the "Cast Spell button" he needed to wait thirty seconds for all the icons and such to load, and I easily beat him. Sometimes it's best to not cheat. (PS sure he could've used hotkeys, but let's just say he's not the brightest gem in the Temple of Lathander)
