Yes, she can get the baby ingame. If you don't want to wait too long for it, then there might be a solution.
Once Aerie is pregnant you will see a new variable in shadowkeeper that look something like this:
Aeriepregnanttimer 566743.
You could change that variable to 1, but you should wait until she has told you all her dialogs about her pregnancy. If I remember well there are a few of them.
