H. Yeah, he told me he was sending you dreams. I don't know what was in them, though. He would come and get me every day and take me to his laboratory. Each day, he'd do something different. One day he would make me watch when he would torture someone else, a shadow thief, or another inmate. The next, he would strap me down, and cut on me, various places. You can see the scars. Or, cast spells on me until I was almost dead, then magically heal me. He talked about you all of the time, what he was going to do when he got you.> go to dialog screen I.
I. Imoen- I was scared, but I knew he'd keep me alive until you got there. Then, I thought he'd kill us both. That kept me going, in a way.

J. Imoen- Well, I thought that I'd at least see you again, before I died. That would have been nice, I thought. But, now we're going to beat him at his own game. We'll get our souls back, (character), I just know it.
