Fighters only need to be soo good. Sarevok has maxed out stats all over the place and it seems a shame to waste them. I would personally dual him, think of the back stab...
Basically, you get to a level with characters where getting much better is a bit debatable in terms of effect. I think high level mages are much better comparitevly than high level fighters, for example. But I also think it depends on your playing style (easy get out clause on any question where you say something contraversial, I know).
