No, don't dual a wizard slayer in SOA at all. They have bad resistance and are messed up for what they can use. Just play them pure or dual to thief at highest possible level in ToB to get Use Any Item. What would be the point of running a mage that can't use amulet of power anyway? No rings either. Not alot of things really. A very painful class in SoA, but very mean in ToB.
