Ok, I tried killing the monks at the front gate.
There seems to be an infinite number of them but none of them has a key.
(I dont need the XP because I spent over an hour in the unlimited XP tunnel, and picked up about 6,000,000XP and items worth approx 2,000,000 gold courtesy of a bottomless bag of plenty (bug? - it had over 1500 items in it).

If the thieve's den is the smuggler's cave, then there's nobody there anymore.

Any more suggestions, or do I have to magic a key using CluaConsole (or whatever it is) - if so then what value do I need, and how do I go about it?
