when the screen is up with the pic you like, hit the print scrn/sysreq buttom up near the F12 key. then later, open up the black isle root directory, and look in the new scrnshot folder. open up the image in ms paint or an image editing tool, and cut the pic out. paste into a new paint program, resize to the dimensions in the readme, and choose save as .jpg files. then put them in the custom portrait folder, off you go.
