It must be the elemental damage, but that would only be about 1 pt a hit.

Try using Greater Malison, it isn't affected by MR AFAIK

Yeah but it was still four damage per turn- 2 for fire tooth and 1 each for the others. It was still enough to cancel out his regeneration and interrupt his spell casting. Fire arrows and things might work too. I found that Demo kept dropping that big storm thing of his on my mages and interrupting them so they never got to cast very well, hence the use of them as long range fire power.
