Yea, I finished TOB, and had a blast. Of course i was playing with my great mage party, 5 level 12 warrior/27 mages plus a cleric/thief. SO I was whipping out dragonsbreaths, timestops, spell sequencers, devas/planetars, and many others easy.
And some of the fights were hard, thank god. they get kinda easy after a while. One of the battles of the Seal in Watchers keep was tough, the final villian was a toughie, plus the kronies.. (Damn fallen solar healing everyone), and The statue Baalspawn was a bugger before I figured out her tactics. So some great battles.
But with a mage, which I consider the strongest character in the game, its alot of fun. Run into a enemy party invisible, cast a spell sequencer (greater malison/emotion/confusion) followed the next round by a Spell trigger (triple sunfire) PLUS have a chain contingency on so that if they hit you, 3 Wilting Horror spells go off. You can clear a room with 1 guy in a couple rounds LOL.
I blasted rooms with this combo so much my computer couldn't handle all my spells blowing everyone up and would slow down SOOO darn much.
And If i cast a timestop first, I can throw the sequencer, the spell trigger, then run out of the room and cast a death cloud into it LOL. Try it sometimes, it takes a while to prepare your spells, but when i can clear out a room of demons and fallen solars with 1 guy, its well worth it.
I do wish they had a sequencer spell for the clerics, heck mages get a bunch of them, why not the clerics?
