Minsc & Edwin fighting is part of the plot - you're supposed to just enjoy it as part of the drama
if you're more worried about keeping your powerful party together though there is a mod you can download and apply (the 'happy NPC mod i think it's called) - the pocketplane modlist in the forum faq will show you where it is
