I concur, even though I generally recommend IEEP for people who are just beginning to want to create items, etc. Once they get familiar with the creation process they can step up to a more versatile tool.

Strangely enough, spells I create for BG1 won't work if I use Near Infinity but they always work if I use IEEP. Weird.
