At this point in the game getting a whole bunch of 150 exp is relatively pointless to me. The closer I get to the exp cap the less I care about the exp. But anyways, on a brighter note the magic protection scroll did the trick; Minsc survived and that is what counts for me.
P.S.-The world's edge is potentially the hottest 2-handed sword in the game.
