So Lemmy and I were discussing an idea for a mod that would keep Edwin as Edwina. Lemmy had a good name for it right away: Permeneant Edwina Mod.

Here were our ideas. As the Bounty Hunter is about to dispell the Netherese Dweomor, something bad happens to him just before he can finish depending on which NPCs are in the group. This all happens for a reason, because it is Edwina and Anomen's destiny to fall in love and have a lovechild that will restore the balance by as Lemmy put it: where young Ednomen (Anowin if female) becomes the Groom of the Stool for some important lord and uses his/her influence to do something suitably stupid and arrogant, fitting of both parents. Lemmy and I came up with the following scenarios:

Jan in Party: Jan tells a story to the bounty hunter of a bounty hunter just like him being mauled by a griffen in front of his Uncle Scratchy's eyes. As the Bounty Hunter is laughing at such a ridiculous story, a griffen appears out of nowhere an mauls him!

Cernd in Party: Cernd implores Silvanus to intervene as the balance will be greatly altered if Edwin becomes a man again. Silvanus strikes down the Bounty Hunter with Lightening.

Jaheira in Party: Every night Jaheira has been casting protection spells on Edwina to ensure no one will dispell the dweomor.

Minsc in Party: As the hunter is casting, Boo literally goes for the eyes!

We hadn't thought of a fifth NPC though, except for the one I'm working on still (Bryan just "claims" the bounty hunter was going to cast fireball so he had to hit the guy with a sling bullet). Maybe someone can chime in a fifth suggestion.

The Mod will involve Anomen and Edwina falling in love, but first with a moment of weakness, a night of drinking, and a morning of regrets. Their lovechild, Anowina, fixes the balance.
