Sillara is correct, Anomen is gone forever, and so are all his items, unless of course you CLUA them back in. I'm mildly surprised that items such as the Hammer of Thunderbolts remained on Anomen, though: Normally, when NPCs leave your party, "artifact-level" items such as the Flail of Ages will automatically jump from their Inventory into yours, along with all of their containers.
If Anomen ditches the party and heads for the Bridge District, the ONLY way you'll ever see him again is to drop whatever you're doing and go straight after him.
