hello,
i am now playing bg 2 a second time, this time i'm planning to play
tob as well. i know have a great party: archer, minsc, keldorn, jaheira, imoen
aerie. it's a great party, and now i've run into a problem.
in chapter 6, suldanessellar, i entered the paleis, where irenicus is. but then i decided to go back and finish off the several mission left. i finished of watchers tower, and my stronghold missions in umar hills.
then i wanted to go back and finish off the game, and continue tob. but it says that suldanessellar is unreachable. my saved games don't go
that far back. therefore i am completely stuck, this really sux because my party is 21 level and above. and at those high levels
i got a lot of goodies, which i don't want to lose.
i installed all patches after i found out of thos problems, not very
smart.
there is one more thing which makes me suspect it is a bug because if i go and talk to elhan, at the shadow thieves hq, and then the whole sequence begins over, and i can head to the strong hold with the boot. it's obvious this is a bug, but how do i get rid of it?
i could import these characters to tob, and continue playing, but that
spoiling a great deal of fun, killing irenicus.
does anyone have any idea to what i should do?
