It's a relatively well-known bug that the Greater Wolfweres you mention can Regenerate so fast as to be practically unkillable. I've never had this bug myself, but from what I hear, it's caused by Reloading the area several times: For some reason, each Reload tells the Wolfweres to regenerate, which means that multiple Reloads makes their Regeneration rates overlap, and cumulative Regeneration is a very tough nut to crack. I don't know how to fix this bug in-game, but it was my understanding that BaldurDash prevented it.
Solutions:
1) Ctrl-Y
2) Slowing them does indeed reduce their Regeneration rate, but you'll probably need to lower their Magic Resistance and perhaps their Saving Throws first.
3) Lots and lots of damage, all applied VERY quickly, during a single round if possible. Ways to do this might include Improved Hasting your best Warriors (Minsc, Jaheira, and Anomen, in that order) and have them drink STR potions. Supplement this with some very fast high-damage spells (a Spell Sequencer filled with 3 Flame Arrows is excellent) and probably a Backstab from Yoshimo.
4) Do the de'Arnise Keep first. Go back to the Copper Coronet and talk to Nalia.
5) Rearrange your party. Since you say you're already capable of Level 6 spells, you've probably already got too much invested in your current party members to want to go switching them out now, but in my opinion, a party with only 1.75 Warriors is really lacking in brawling power.
