Odd. That may be a bug--I seem to recall that Angelo is only present during a dialogue situation; He transports you outside, and when you go back in, he's gone. That's what MY version of the game does, yours may be different. Of course, it's a long time since I used Shar-Teel, and even then I never let myself get captured.
