I cant quite remember as it is a long time since I had Keldorn but I seem to remeber that you can let him spend time with his wife and then have him back in the party and also you can have him after you rescue Imoen

If you mean that you still want to have Keldorn in Throne of Bhaal you can "warp" him in through the spirit in the pocket plane just make sure that before you finish SoA you take all his stuff off him, i doubt you want to lose all those really nice paladin specific swords........
