Link, it doesn't matter what a DnD newbie would or wouldn't know. His characters would know what carrion crawlers are, and that's what matters.

Oh, NG, ok then, nevermind. If you WERE LG, at some point you would have to kill her, or at least kick her out of the party. I won't spoil you as to why, but just trust me, you would.
