korgan works pretty well for me. just bersek him and send him first, so the other party members dun get the first wave of psionic blasts. then u can send them in wif ranged weapons. jus note that the mind flayers automatically go for those who have been hit wif psionic blasts so perhaps you can use ur party members to block or get rid of those attacking the stunned guys first, or they might get KOed
