Tanar'ri? it's a Demon, isn't it? well, I have never had much problems with demons... simply throw my front men at them with a few minor buffs (haste, def harmony, etc) not sure if you don't need a +1 weapon, or even a +2 weapon, to actually hit the Demon... not much of a help, but if I find that out...

according to Sixo'Spades and Dron_Cah most valuable tips: Demons require +3 weapons or better, and they recommend Bless, Chant and Free action, as well as Haste for the total Demon pwnage.
