Even if u would play a human u will never get as powerfull as him, with his special spells and all (at least that is my opinion). Also, WARNING SPOILER

He was an elf and he was much more powerfull back then, now that he's a human (cause he's cursed) he's not that powerfull anymore. And the "turning in pink stuff" is called infravision
(elves can see very well in the dark, unlike humans [img]tongue.gif[/img] ).
