I know there is a Detect Trap spell, but i don't know if it's not a priest spell, anyway u could use this to detect traps and evoid them; also there is a the Ease of Use mode that can make the traps and locks be no more. You can download it here.

The Cloak of Mirroring is a very good item that protects you from any spell damage(it reflects it back to it source).
