Dual class: Humans only. Start with one class (can be a specialist) and then elect to switch to a different class (can only be a generalist, i.e. plain fighter, not wizard slayer; or plain thief, not bounty hunter). Also limitations on which classes can be used to dual from, as indicated above.

Multi-class: Demi-humans only. Start with a character that splits EXP between two classes at the same time. Limitations on the class combinations based on race (Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings have only certain combinations available to them).
