i wondered about that - something like cure the amnesia and bump the intelligence up to 17 to allow a mage dual [/QUOTE]I was thinking more along the lines of, what if you found a character that had *already* been dualed... and they go through the motions of recovering their memory.. and when they gain enough EXP to advance to the next level and recover their old class skills, they remember everything. Combos including but not limited to fighters, thieves, and mages come to mind. A fighter, hit over the head in a bar room brawl forgets everything and learns to live by picking pockets...
Or I can dream of the dual classed thief--> sorceress. I know it's impossible to do, but can't you see it? An alchemy experiment gone wrong, a magical trap triggers incorrectly, and the surge awakens latent magical power but wipes her mind clean...
