to be honest i'm not convinced speed works properly in tutu with or without the boots (you can run away from wolves at the start and even with the boots on you're the same speed as human enemies)
you don't seem to get MR effects on targetted spells (e.g. heal) but you do on area effect spells (e.g. bless)
you can have any spells but there are no extra scrolls - you can always be a sorcerer though
and you can pick find familiar and spook at character creation
