I'm also considering making it a bard class, yes, maybe even using some of the Blade's abilities. I don't know how I'd give them TI bonuses unless I gave their blades bonuses against undead.
And yes, there are fine elven scimitars, but the favored weapon of Eilistraee is the bastard sword, and the longsword is the quintissential elven weapon, so I'm more or less sticking to those two. I might even use just bastard swords. That would be easier to work out what type the enchanted blade becomes.
