What I found annoying is that the ToSC changes to the final battle didn't make any more bad guys for you to fight, didn't make the existing bad guys any tougher, and CERTAINLY didn't make them any smarter. All it did is that now, when any of the 4 bad guys can see any member of your party, Web and Stinking Cloud are cast at the spot where your party member is standing. Yeah--like Tazok can cast 3rd-level Wizard spells, sure.
So my own tactic involves giving them some of their own medicine: First I take a Stealthed Thief near the dais to initiate Sarevok's dialogue and make Semaj teleport out into the main room, where my other 5 members are all too happy to shoot him to pieces. (What an idiot.)
Next, a simple Dispel Magic (aimed at the stairs, out of sight of the enemies) will remove the invisibility from Angelo and Tazok.
After that, a Greater Malison (if you have more than one, by all means use them, too--what are you saving them for?) will leave all 3 remaining bad guys vulnerable to all the Webs and Stinking Clouds you fire at them--and Magic Resistance be hanged.
You are now the proud owner of 3 almost completely helpless boss enemies. Go to town.
