I've got no problem with people making up their own stories to justify a character they want to play, so I've got no real issue with that aspect of it.

The only times you'll run into something which "contradicts" the past you made up are during NPC conversations, certain dialogue options with a large Red lizard, the Master Wraith in ToB, & the Solar's "Reveal Your Past" dialogues in ToB.

There's really not a whole lot in SoA that is dependent upon the whole Raised-in-CandleKeep aspect of the protagonist.

I think your biggest challenges with the character may be getting the whole thing to work in game. You do have ShadowKeeper, right?

You'll probably need to create your character as a Human Cleric of Lathander, then Dual to Fighter, then go into SK & change your race to Dwarf & your Kit to Kensai (you'll no longer receive any more "Boon of Lathander" abilities, but I think you should keep the ones you already had).

As for being proficient in Bladed weapons, you'll probably have to revisit SK every time you gain a proficiency in order to move a * from a valid weapon into the one you want.

As for actually equipping Bladed weapons, you could go a couple of routes...
- I think Ashes of Embers (see icelus' MOD post) has a universal weapons component
- you can give your character the Use Any Item Ability (with SK) & restrict yourself to only abusing it for weapon choices
- you can put illegal weapons into your weapon slots using SK (you'll have to repeat this if you ever unequip your weapon, though)

Good luck getting it all to work...
