As for the rings... it depends who else is in your party. I'm playing a sorcerer right now with viconia korgan jan edwin and a monk. I usually reserve the ring of gaxx and ring of regeneration for mellee fighters and have my sorceror wear the ring of wizardy and the other ring which looks like it... (acuity?)
