Nope, i'm afraid your only recourse is an undelete program...just look on
www.winfiles.com and there's bound to be a shareware or freeware program.
W32/MyDoom-F searches for and deletes 40% of files with extensions of AVI, BMP, DOC, JPG, MDB, SAV and XLS. Unfortunately, BG2 save game files are .SAV which explains why you can't retrieve them.

To stop this happening again, never open an email with any attachments ending EXE, SCR, COM, PIF, BAT, CMD or ZIP unless it's from a trusted source that gives an explicit (and sensible) reason for the attachment. If in doubt, don't open and ask the sender first. And if it's anything to do with Britney Spears then delete it on sight [img]tongue.gif[/img] An application protection program will ask for confirmation before executing any file like this, you can find them on winfiles as well.
