Did you petrify him with it, them? If you did, then you missed out on perhaps the best 2 handed sword in the entire game.

b) At level 12 (or is it level 11...) your Orb slays, not petrifies. If the druid is powerful enough to complete the druid grove quests and take on a dragon, odds are said druid is powerful enough to slay with their Orbs.
c) What does a druid want with a 2-handed sword, anyway? To sell? I'm sure they'll find enough loot elsewhere.
