Way back when there was only PnP, I think there was an AD&D module called "Slavers Stockade" or something along those lines. Anyway, I seem to recall that some of the NPCs from that module have the same names as a couple of the NPCs from the Guarded Compound. Specifically, Stalman (LE Cleric, I believe) = Stalman Klim from PnP, and Ketta (CE Thief?) = "Slippery" Ketta from PnP.

Did anyone else notice this, or am I the only old-timer around? I suspect that this was NOT a coincidence, since the bad guys in the Guarded Compound were supposedly part of the Slavers/Twisted Rune storyline that never got implemented.

Anyone know of any other non-coincidental NPC names (besides the obvious ones -- Drizzt, etc.)?
